'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana-Jitendra Kumar fight for their love, seal it with a kiss

Finally, the much-awaited trailer of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is out. In the film, Ayushmann Khurrana is seen playing the role of a gay and is paired opposite Jitendra Kumar. The trailer starts with Ayushmann's character having a conversation with Manu Rishi, who asks him when did he decide to become gay. Khurrana's befitting reply gives the perfect start to the trailer. It also has a glimpse of his romance brewing with Jitendra and that too on the train.

Jitendra's parents are Garjraj Rao and Neena Gupta, who are not ready to come in terms of the fact that their son is gay. However, Ayushmann comes and stays at their house and screams on a loudspeaker of the family being homophobic. He is seen using the pride flag as a cape during the sequence. Apart from fighting with parents to accept their relationship, Ayushmann and Jitendra have adorable moments together and they share cute chemistry.

One of the major highlights is the kiss between Ayushmann and Jitendra which is unapologetic and palpable too. In the film, we see Pankhuri Awasthy being roped in to be the bride of Jitendra. However, it's Ayushmann's Roadie reference that will leave everyone in splits.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. The film is a sequel to Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and is hitting the screens on February 21, 2020.
