Over three years since Dil Dhadakne Do, in which their chemistry was appreciated, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra are teaming up for a film. This time around, the actor came on board after Abhishek Bachchan, who is said to have first committed to this Shonali Bose directorial, reportedly opted out.

The movie is based on Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. Undeterred by the ailment, she came out with a book My Little Epiphanies. At 15, she gave several motivational talks and speeches. She passed away at the young age of 18. 

Dangal girl Zaira Wasim will reportedly essay Aisha in Bose’s film, titled The Sky Is Pink, while Farhan and Priyanka will play the parents. Reportedly, the shooting for the movie begins next month.
