'She's my sister, I love her to death': Ashmit Patel showers love on Ameesha Patel amidst fallout rumours

Siblings Ameesha Patel and Ashmit Patel were not on talking terms for many years. After the actress accused her dad Amit Patel of mismanaging her money, she had a fallout with her parents as well as Ashmit. They were not on good terms for many years and then Ameesha had praised her brother during his stint on Bigg Boss Season 4 back in 2010. Now it's reported that Ameesha and Ashmit had a fallout again in 2017.

During an interaction with Hindustan Times, when Ashmit was asked about Ameesha and alleged fallout between them, he stated, "The stories have been floating for I don’t know how long, I guess for over fifteen years. And what do you possibly explain or how much will you explain because I think people will think about what they want to. Every day something new is being reported, so I don’t know what the new speculation is."

Ashmit went on to shower love on Ameesha by saying, "She’s my sister and I love her to death and I’d be there for her no matter what, through all the thick and thin. I’ve always been there for her, she can count on me and hopefully, I can also count on her for anything, anywhere and anytime."

Meanwhile, Ashmit was also recently in the news for a breakup with fiancée Maheck Chahal. The estranged couple had got engaged in 2017 and was all set to tie the knot a year later. However, due to differences between them allegedly started brewing Ashmit and Maheck delayed their wedding date and eventually broke up.
