Bollywood veteran actress Sharmila Tagore has realised that the only way she and her family can deal with all the media attention over grandson Taimur Ali Khan is by accepting it. The two-year-old son of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan is an internet sensation. He is always surrounded by a bunch of paparazzi and his photos regularly go viral.

On Sunday, interacting with the media at the HELLO! Hall of Fame Awards 2019, the 74-year-old actress said: "I suppose we have to live with it. This is the age of social media. I don't think anything can be done about it."

While she's learning to cope up with the media frenzy she is still apprehensive as she feels the media coverage is not good for Taimur. She feels he is too young to process it. “I am very old-fashioned. I don’t think children should be exposed to all this," she added.

Taimur apparently catches more eyeballs than any actor's kid of the film industry. When asked what Sharmila felt about that, she said: “I guess I should be happy about it but I don’t think it’s very good for the child.”

Tagore revealed her grandaughter Sara Ali Khan's advice often comes handy when she gets stressed about all this. “However I learnt from Sara (Sara Ali Khan, Taimur’s half-sister) to say if you can’t beat them then, join them,” she told the media.
