The first song from Shakuntala Devi is out. Titled 'Pass Nahi Toh Fail Nahi', the track is picturised on Vidya Balan who plays the lead the movie. In the song, the actor is seen visiting a school and teaching the magic of mathematics. She talks to the students and explains to them the joy of maths. Vidya also through the song tells the kids that not passing in exams doesn't mean you have failed in life.

Vidya is full of joy and happiness in the song which cites that she is all hearts for mathematics as the subject. She even looks pretty in a short hairdo, oversized spectacles and summery yellow saree. 'Pass Nahi Toh Fail Nahi' is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The music is composed by Sachin - Jigar while the lyrics are penned Vayu.

Talking about the song, Vidya said in a statement, "Aptly titled 'Pass Nahi to Fail Nahi', this song is really close to my heart as it brings out an interesting way to interact with numbers and tries to drive away from the math phobia that many experiences in a very fun and peppy way.  I really hope that the audience will continue to shower love and praise on this song as much as they appreciated the trailer."

Shakuntala Devi is directed by Anu Menon and also stars Sanya Malhotra, Jisshu Sengupta and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles. The film is set to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from July 31, 2020.
