Shah Rukh Khan might be the latest addition to Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. The actor, who last featured in Aanand L. Rai's Zero, is expected to make an announcement of this on his birthday tomorrow i.e. on November 2, 2019.

A source told Mumbai Mirror that SRK would help Ranbir Kapoor's journey in the film. "It’s a guest appearance but Shah Rukh plays a pivotal role in taking Ranbir’s journey forward. He has already allotted his dates for his portions and will shoot before the year-end," said the little birdie.

Brahmastra is helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the director who gave Ranbir some of his biggest hits like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. "Shah Rukh himself likes Ayan’s work and immediately agreed to the cameo. And like everyone else’s in the film, even SRK’s character has the mythological touch," added the source while walking about how Shah Rukh Khan was approached and revealing a little more about his cameo.

Shah Rukh Khan has previously collaborated with Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He also worked with Alia Bhatt in Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi and the two's chemistry was much loved. SRK and Alia even arrived in Koffee With Karan to promote their film and shared warm chemistry there.
