After a numebr of Bollywood celebs took to their social media pages to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), for their historic victory in the 17th Lok Sabha Elections 2019. After winning with a clean sweep, with 303-seats, the BJP has returned to power and joining the list of B-Town celebs who've congratulated PM Modi is Shah Rukh Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan on Friday, took to his Twitter account to extend his best wishes to PM Narendra Modi and the BJP, for their landkmark win. He wrote, "We - as proud Indians - have chosen an establishment with great clarity and now we need to get behind it and work with it to have our hopes and dreams fulfilled.The Electoral Mandate and Democracy is a winner.Big congratulations to PM @narendramodi ji, @BJP4India and its leaders."

This is the second consecutive win for the BJP in the Indian General Elections 2019. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had made a special video for his fans and had urged them to vote in the Lok Sabha Elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had requested Bollywood actors to ensure high voter awareness and participation in the general elections through their creativity and constant engagement.
Shah Rukh Khan who shared the video on his social media is not only an actor but a global icon with the power to influence a wide range of public for the greater good. Shah Rukh Khan has time and again taken a stand in public interest, using his fandom as a tool for social welfare.
