90s popular playback singers Shaan and Sonu Nigam lit up social media on Monday with a photo of them posing for a rare click together. Mainstays of Bollywood films back in the day, the singers left the netizens in shock with their buffed up look.
The latest photo, shared by Shaan on his verified Instagram handle, was to extend birthday wishes to his contemporary Sonu Nigam. Alongside a photo of the two on Instagram, Shaan wrote in his caption, "Very Happy Birthday Champ!!! @sonunigamofficial Have another Rocking Year .. full of Love, Cheers, Peace and MUSIC !!!! More power to you bhai."
Apparently, the singers seem to have completed their workout session after which they stopped and posed for a photo. The two are seen sporting gym wear in the image and are all smiles as they flaunt they buffed up look.
The physical transformation of the two singers left netizens in complete awe of them. "Can't tell if you guys are singers, heroes or bodybuilders," commented an internet user. "Singers or body builders...?" asked an Instagram user. "Bodybuilder singers," wrote another.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with IANS, talking about the responsibility of a musician to heal people with their music amid the ongoing depressing times of the pandemic, Shaan said, "I would definitely want my music to have a positive influence on my listeners. I try to keep a subtle message in my songs while entertaining the audience. It is also important that I update my music to suit the youth, in terms of sound, lyrics and composition. And while I have ventured into various genres, I make sure not to cross the line. After all, it is a social and moral responsibility of a singer to bring positive change through music."
On the work front, Shaan's latest single "Tera hissa hoon", which talks about the father-son bond, was recently released on the occasion of Father's Day.
As for Sonu Nigam, he has been spending most of his time with his wife and son in Dubai for the last few years.
