Neena Gupta's book 'Sach Kahun Toh: An Autobiography' has hit the stands and people are loving all the revelations the actor has made. The book chronicles her extraordinary personal and professional journey-from her childhood days in Delhi's Karol Bagh, through her time at the National School of Drama, to moving to Bombay in the 1980s and dealing with the struggles to find work. It details the big milestones in her life, her unconventional pregnancy and single parenthood, and successful second innings in Bollywood.

In the book, Neena mentioned that filmmaker-actor Satish Kaushik had proposed to her for marriage when she was pregnant with Masaba Gupta. For the uninitiated, the actor welcomed Masaba with Sir Viv Richards out of wedlock.

As per reports in Film Companion, it's mentioned in the book that Satish says, "Don’t worry, if the child is born with dark skin, you can just say it’s mine and we’ll get married. Nobody will suspect a thing."

Earlier during an interaction with Pinkvilla, Neena had revealed that many of her friends offered to marry her when she was pregnant. She said, "A lot of people started being sympathetic. My friends started telling me, 'I'll marry you, at least your daughter will have a surname. And I was like, just to give her a father's name, I'll get married. I told them I can fend for her myself and I started working relentlessly to make things work."

Neena is currently married to Vivek Mehra.
