Sanjay Dutt never called me to postpone Haseena Parkar: Apoorva Lakhia

It, therefore, came as a shock to their mutual friends to hear that Sanjay “requested” his friend to postpone his film Haseena Parkar to avoid the clash with Sanjay’s comeback film, Bhoomi on September 22.
It was reported that Sanjay’s wife Maanayata called up Lakhia to ask why her husband’s name was being used for the publicity of Haseena Parkar. However, Apoorva completely denies this supposed distress call from his pal. “Why would Sanju be threatened by my film?
Bhoomi is different from my film. And my film stars a female actor. They are completely different entities. I received no call from Sanju regarding my film. I wish both the films will do well,” says Lakhia.
