Samir Kochhar’s name has been synonymous with Indian Premier League (IPL) since almost a decade. But besides cricket, the actor also likes playing and endorsing other sports. Currently, he is in Jakarta to host the Asian Games 2018. Samir, we hear, has pitched ‘Kho Kho’ to the Sports Federation requesting them to include it in the Asian Games next year.

Samir says, “Each year, two countries are chosen to present the game of their choice for the next edition of Asian Games, considered by the council. So, it was an honour to be representing an Indian sport in front of the Olympic council of Asia so that it can be included in the next Asian Games. In India, there is a need for other sports to be pushed forward, the federations who are trying their best to generate noise, wealth and opportunity to make their game standout should be given a helping hand.”
