While Salman Khan has provided one lakh hand sanitizers to the Mumbai Police, Akshay Kumar had helped them with wristbands to fight COVID-19

Salman Khan is the latest Bollywood celebrity to come forward and help Mumbai Police combat novel coronavirus. The superstar has donated one lakh sanitizers so the Mumbai Police could fight the pandemic with efficiency. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray lauded Salman for the efforts on Twitter.
"Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan for providing 1Lakh Hand Sanitizers to our @MumbaiPolice #WarAgainstVirus," wrote Uddhav Thackeray, sharing the news. Prior to this, Salman Khan had provided ration to over 25,000 daily wage workers through his foundation Being Haangryy.

Before Salman Khan, actor Akshay Kumar had helped the Mumbai Police in fight against COVID-19. Khiladi Kumar had provided the Police with over 1000 wristbands in order to detect early coronavirus and eventually help combat the virus.
The Mumbai Police were the first organisation in the world enabled to remotely track and manage the health of its personnel with the preventive health platform. Akshay had also donated Rs. 25 crore to PM Cares Fund in fight against COVID-19 and was actively involved in helping the BMC with their work during the pandemic.
