Salman Khan spoke to media personalities as he celebrated his 55th birthday on Panvel farmhouse on December 27
Salman Khan turned 55 on December 27 this year. The actor celebrated his big day with friends, family and media at his Panvel farmhouse. The actor gave media a few bytes before joining his people for the continued celebrations.
During one such media byte, Salman gave an update on his movie 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai'. Directed by Prabhudheva, the movie was slated for Eid 2020 release previously but had to be pushed due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Now, Salman has shared that the film is likely to release on Eid 2021. The news comes in contrast to reports about 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' being booked for Eid 2021 release.
"If things are in the clear by Eid, that’s when the film will be released," Salman told the media. He also added, "That’s not important, what’s important is to ensure that people are safe. And God forbid, if anything happens to them at the theatre, then that wouldn’t be acceptable for anyone."
Salman Khan was in no mood to celebrate his birthday this year, given how it has brought suffering upon people. He said, "I had no desire to celebrate my birthday in this terrible year," further adding, "I hope that everyone is healthy, happy, and safe."
Apart from Panvel farmhouse, Salman Khan celebrated his birthday on the sets of 'Bigg Boss 14', which is hosted by him. Salman's old friends and co-stars Raveena Tandon and Jacqueline Fernandez had come on the show and fed Salman cake on his day.
Shehnaaz Gill and Dharmesh Yelande were also seen paying a surprise visit to Salman. The housemates this year also paid special tributes to Salman with their performances for the actor. Eijaz Khan and Sonali Phogat especially asked Salman Khan if they could perform on a song and grooved to 'Mashallah'.
