Saif Ali Khan reveals Kareena Kapoor’s advice that helped him tackle criticism and trolling

Despite their massive fan base, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are frequently in the news for some unfortunate reasons. Trolling on the internet has become a part of the couple's daily routine. Their marriage, followed by the naming of their two sons Taimur and Jehangir, has aroused debate. The parents received backlash from social media users for naming their boys after Mughal rulers.

Now, Saif has disclosed how one piece of advice from Kareena has helped him deal with haters and trolls. During an interview with Etimes, the actor admitted that social media bullying and severe criticism used to ruin his day. That's when Kareena offered a solution and advised Saif to avoid reading too much about himself on the internet.

Saif claims that he simply avoids the trolls, which has allowed him to focus more on his work. He warns that seeking for information about yourself on the internet might become addictive. It happened to him as well, because he used to google himself frequently, and any unpleasant comment or troll would destroy his day. Then Kareena told him to just stop doing it, which he did. It was a huge success.

Because of the anonymity on social media, the versatile actor also believes that no one can tell who is targeting whom. As a result, individuals get into fights for no apparent reason, and it frequently ends badly.

Surprisingly, Saif has yet to establish a formal social media presence. Instead, he can be found in his wife's Instagram pictures.

On the professional front, Kareena will next be seen in Aamir Khan's film 'Laal Singh Chaddha.' The film is a Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed film 'Forrest Gump.' 

Next up for Saif Ali Khan is the film ‘Bhoot Police,' which also stars Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez. Pavan Kirpalani directs the horror-comedy. Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri are producing the film, which will follow a crew of ghost hunters and their exploits.
