Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York for a health ailment. Before he flew to the Big Apple, the Hindi cinema icon was shooting in Delhi for a slice-of-life film, which is helmed by debutant director Hitesh Bhatia. Rishi teams up with Juhi Chawla, his Bol Radha Bol leading lady, in it. The initial schedule was meant to be a 45-day affair. However, the shoot had to be cut short because of the actor’s health concerns.
When contacted about the film’s status, Vivek Krishnani, Managing Director, Sony Pictures Entertainment, India, which is backing the film, said, “Rishiji is unwell and abroad for his treatment. The team wishes him a speedy recovery and looks forward to having him back with the unit soon.”
