Rishi Kapoor gets emotional after watching Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju teaser

Rishi Kapoor isn’t too vocal when it comes to praising his immediate family. Whenever he sees good work done by his son, Ranbir Kapoor, he is happy. But he usually refrains from going over-the-top with his comments.

However, one heard from an eye witness that when he first saw the teaser of Sanju, the Sanjay Dutt biopic in which Ranbir plays the ’80s Bollywood superstar, the veteran actor couldn’t believe what he had just seen. Our source says, “Rishiji was completely blown away by the teaser. He was also privy to a couple of more scenes shown to him by writer-director Rajkumar Hirani and what he saw left him impressed and emotional. He had tears in his eyes.”

One hears that when Ranbir heard of his father’s reaction to his teaser, he also got emotional. The young star has always held his father’s comments on his work in high regard. And he was happy to learn that Sanju’s teaser had impressed Rishi.
