Bandra’s Pali Hill area boasts of several landmark addresses of Bollywood stars. One such attraction was Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s iconic bungalow, Krishna Raj, which the power couple had bought in 1980. The duo stayed there with their children — Ranbir and Riddhima — for a long time. However, in 2016, the structure was razed to be redeveloped as a 15-storey high-rise, so that the Kapoor clan could stay together.

While Rishi and Neetu are temporarily living in a building off Hill Road, Ranbir has shifted to Vastu, which is a few blocks away from Krishna Raj. Now, we have learnt that the Kapoors will move into the high-rise by 2020. A source tells us, “It will be a luxurious abode. The plinth has been laid and if all goes well, the structure should be ready by 2019. The family will move in once the interiors are done.” It’ll be interesting to see what kind of a modern facelift this erstwhile landmark will get.
