Late actor Rishi Kapoor’s wife, Neetu Kapoor is celebrating her 63rd birthday. Wishes have poured for Neetu from her fans, family and friends from the film fraternity. Neetu’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also wished her by sharing an adorable photo.
Taking to her Instagram, Riddhima shared a photo featuring her, Neetu, and her brother, actor Ranbir Kapoor. The trio could be seen embracing each other as they clicked the selfie. While Neetu and Riddhima looked like their elegant selves in minimal jewellery and makeup, Ranbir Kapoor looked charming in a black shirt and his infectious smile.
As per Riddhima’s Instagram stories, the photo is from the birthday dinner they had last night. While sharing the photo, Riddhima wrote, “Me & mine ! Happiest bday Ma! We love you so much.” She also added a heart emoji in the comments.
Fans and friends took to the comment section to wish the veteran actor. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra dropped heart emojis in the comments. This is Neetu Kapoor’s second birthday without her husband, late actor Rishi Kapoor, who passed away in April 2020.
Neetu Kapoor mader her Bollywood debut at age eight with the 1966 film ‘Suraj’. She had her breakthrough with 1973 ‘Yaadon Ki Baarat’ where she starred as a dancer. Neetu has worked in several hit films such as Amar Akbar Anthony, Jaani Dushman, Kaala Patthar, Parvarish and ‘Yaarana’.
In 1980, Neetu tied the knot with Rishi Kapoor. They were blesses with two children, daughter Riddhima and son, Ranbir. After a long hiatus, Neetu made her Bollywood comeback with Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Love Aja Kal’. Neetu was last seen in ‘Besharam’ alongside Ranbir. She will next appear in Karan Johar’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ which will also star Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan in key roles.
