Rhea Chakraborty opens up on life after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, reveals how she is earning money: 'I am not...'

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai in June 2020. A case of alleged abetment to suicide was registered against his girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty by Rajput’s parents. She was arrested in September 2020 and was granted bail a month later. 

On Saturday, July 20, Rhea launched her podcast titled Chapter 2 with Sushmita Sen as her first guest. As the first episode began, the Main Hoon Na actress asked the Chehre actree how did the idea of an podcast came to her and why she chose its title as Chapter 2. Rhea replied to her, "Everybody knows my Chapter 1 (referring to the jail time and media trial she was subjected to after Sushant's death), or assumes that they know it. I did go through a lot of phases of feeling different emotions, being different versions of myself. Finally, I am feeling more me, but a newer version, like a rebirth. And I want to celebrate that with anyone who has a Chapter 2. I want to say that it is ok to have a Chapter 2, to start again, to move on in life. I want to celebrate change."

Chakraborty also revealed that she has now quit acting in films and shared how she earns money as she added, "Ok, people are confused about what I do for a living anymore. I am not acting in films, I do other things, I do motivational speaking and that’s how I earn my money."

Rhea Chakraborty was last seen as the gang leader on MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand, the 19th season of the adventure reality show telecast in 2023. Vashu Jain from her gang defeated Siwet Tomar from Prince Narula's gang and Prakram Dandona from Gautam Gulati's gang in the Grand Finale.
