Revealed: Hrithik Roshan finally signs Anand Kumar biopic!

That Hrithik Roshan was meant to be doing a biopic on the mathematic whiz Anand Kumar is stale news. What is a fresh piece of information, though, is that the actual signing apparently took place on Wednesday night after a lot of deliberation and thought. The invested parties later tweeted the development.

Our source says that the light-eyed superstar has finally put his signature on the dotted line. The movie titled Super 30, which will be directed by Vikas Bahl, is being jointly produced by HR’s close aide Madhu Mantena in partnership with a film corporation. The source says, “There were a few hiccups initially because the mathematic whiz had also visited Akshay Kumar and it was speculated that the protagonist may be played either by Akshay or Hrithik. Frankly, this even became an ego issue and a bit of an embarrassment for the superstars because both felt the news leak that one or the other could be doing this biopic was unwarranted.”

Earlier, the rights of the biopic were with producer Priti Sinha, who is the main architect of this project. She was meant to be partnering with her close friend Madhu.  But when things soured between Priti and Madhu, the latter went ahead and finalised the deal with Anand Kumar on his own, leaving Priti out in the cold.  

Priti (daughter of veteran film producer Vinay Sinha of Andaz Apna Apna fame), who has a lot of supporters including several superstars received messages from them asking how she was holding up, considering the project was originally conceptualised by her. Even we sent a text to Priti but she chose not to comment. We can only guess she must be hurting.
