It has now come to light that Sid’s Ittefaq will also release this year. Says a source, “They’ve finished shooting. Only the promotional track and some patchwork remain to be shot. The dubbing will start shortly, and they’ll be ready for a release in a couple of months.”
The makers are zeroing in on a November date for the film. “There’s a gap post Diwali (October 18). So mostly, Ittefaq will come in November and Padmavati on November 17. The makers plan to release the film in the second week of November, as it means a solo release, and a gap of two weeks before Golmaal Again and Secret Superstar hit the screens,” adds the insider.
