It’s raining cameos in Bollywood. While we told you that Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha have shot for their respective special appearances in the song for Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, we hear that there’s more to it. The team has roped in a few other actors to step in for the special number.
Rafta Rafta again!
The film’s team has recreated an old classic for the sequel. “There was news that the song will be a remake of an evergreen hit dance track. It’s actually a reworked version of Kishore Kumar’s Rafta Rafta Dekho Aankh Meri Ladi Hai which was picturised on Dharmendra and Rekha.”
While the original featured Dharam and Rekha, the filmmaker wanted to recreate the whole old-world romance again. “Rekha has agreed to do the cameo and she will be matching steps with Dharamji again. She shot for the song yesterday. It will be another major highlight.”
Shatru too!
Not just Rekha, the song will have another veteran actor joining in. “Shatrughan Sinha, too, has given his nod. He and the Deols have been family friends, so it’s not just Sonakshi, but even her dad agreed to shoot for the special dance track.”
