Prasoon Joshi tweeted to the makers of 'Rasbhari', including lead actress Swara Bhaskar, "Saddened by web series #Rasbhari’s irresponsible content portraying a little girl child dancing provocatively in front of men drinking. Creators & audience need to seriously rethink Freedom of expression or freedom of exploitation? Let’s spare children in the desperate need for entertainment."

Swara, in turn, responded writing, "Maybe there is a misunderstanding. The scene is different from what you have described. The kid is dancing on her own will. Her father is ashamed to see her. The dance is not provocative, the kid is just dancing, she isn't aware that the society will even sexualise her - this is what the scene shows."

Here are their tweets:

The scene features Swara's younger version on the show dancing to 'Saat Samundar Paar'. 'Rasbhari' and Swara also received a lot of backlash on Twitter for the movie. The film, which released on Amazon Prime, is the story of a young man named Nand (played by Ayushman Saxena), who falls for his teacher Shanu (Swara).
