Ranveer Singh leaves a 'smashing' comment on Deepika Padukone's Barbie look at Met Gala 2019

Deepika Padukone made her third appearance at the prestigious Met Gala 2019 held in New York City today. The theme for this year was Camp: Notes for Fashion and Deepika opted for a Zac Posen gown at the gala. She wore a metallic pink lurex jacquard gown which includes Zac Posen x GE Additive x Protolabs embroidery resembling the theme of Met Gala 2019.

Deepika's stylist Shaleena Nathani took to her Instagram page and shared a photo of the actor from the pink carpet. She captioned her post as, "CAMPBARBIE @deepikapadukone MET2019 wearing @zacposen jewellery @lorraineschwartz makeup @sandhyashekar hair @georgiougabriel managed by @karishma.prakash assisted by @styledbyraghav @siangabari".

Talking about the detailing of her look for Met Gala 2019, Deepika opted for a retro hairdo and teamed it up with a gorgeous embellished headband. She accessorised her outfit with a pair of pink diamond earrings and a statement cuff. The stunning beauty rounded off her look with an oxblood lip colour and pink smokey eyes.

Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer, who tied the knot last year in the month of November are enjoying the marital bliss irrespective of their hectic schedule.

However, on the work front, Deepika is currently filming for Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak which is slated to release in January 2020. On the other hand, Ranveer is prepping hard for '83 which is hitting the screens next year in April.
