Yash Raj Films launched the trailer for Hichki on Tuesday. Rani plays Naina Mathur, a teacher with Tourette syndrome. According to the official synopsis, Hichki is a story that celebrates self-belief, the resilience of human spirit and hope. The film is about turning disadvantages into opportunities and staring down at challenges and ultimately winning over them.

During the launch event, the No One Killed Jessica star was asked if Aditya Chopra has any issues with her romancing younger actors on screen.

"I've romanced a lot of people. Why will Aditya have any problem with me romancing on screen? He's married an actress. Unko aankh pe patti bandh ke thode hi bola tha ke shaadi ki hai (he wasn't blindfolded when we got married)," replied Rani.

Hichki is set to release on February 23, 2018. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra of We Are Family, the movie also stars Kunal Shiinde in a supporting role.
