In a recently released behind-the-scenes video of 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi', Kangana Ranaut is seen riding a mechanical horse for a war sequence in the film. She is astride a dummy-horse on wheels as she rides into the battlefied.

The video, which is now viral, has detractors trolling the actor for allegedly cheating them into believing that she did all her stunts authentically.

Social media is erupting with comments and memes, criticising the actress for her stunt. “Wow! That escalated fast,” tweeted one. “Had me dying especially the part when actress hollered the war cry,” joked another.

Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandeli has now come out in her support. She took to her Twitter account and schooled the haters about the shooting process.

"How else do you take close up on a galloping horse, this is called a machanical horse and used in movies like Gladiator, The last Samurai, Brave heart and Manikarnika... only for the close ups ....dumb people get excited to see technology... Dumbos !!!," she wrote.

The actress' fans soon rode to her defence. An admirer wrote, "I'm not getting why people are trolling her for riding fake horse. These are techniques that have possibly been used by male actors as well. Even Hollywood actors do d same to perform tough action scenes.Dy use body doubles or harnesses too. It’s common knowledge."

Another smelt a conspiracy - "This clip has suddenly surfaced. There seems to be a definite AGENDA with an aim to belittle Kangana Ranaut. Truly sad.”

Meanwhile, 'Manikarnika' has been performing rather well at the box office. The war-drama, which also marks Kangana's directorial debut, recently made its way into the much-coveted Rs 100-crore-club in its week 4.
