Ranbir Kapoor tests COVID-19 positive, confirms Neetu Kapoor

After much speculations, it has been confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor has been tested positive for coronavirus. The actor has been self-quarantining at home and it's his mother and actor Neetu Kapoor who confirmed the report. Neetu took to her Instagram page and shared a photo of RK while giving an update on his health. From the past few hours, it was reported that Ranbir is COVID-19 positive.

Neetu wrote, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions."

A few weeks back, Neetu was tested positive for coronavirus while shooting for her upcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh. Along with her, even Varun Dhawan was diagnosed.

In her statement, Neetu had said, "Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid- 19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor's advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support! Please stay safe, wear a mask, keep a safe distance. Take care."

Meanwhile, talking about Ranbir, the actor is gearing up for the release of Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji. In the film, he is paired opposite Alia Bhatt and the film is set to hit the screens this year.

RK has also been shooting for Luv Ranjan directorial along with Shraddha Kapoor.
