The director of Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to announce his next with Ranbir Kapoor after two back to back blockbusters.
The actor who has impressed the fans with his versatile acting through movies like 'Rockstar', 'Barfi', 'Tamasha', 'Wake Up Sid', 'Sanju', and many more is all set to star in the unnamed project that is backed by the talented director. The film is said to be an action thriller, a genre Ranbir hasn't been seen exploring in his movies before.
The team is expected to unveil a surprise video to commence the new year on a positive note on the 1st day of 2021 at 12:01 am on T-series' official YouTube channel. Produced by T-series and Bhadrakali Pictures, the project is being touted as one of the most-anticipated films of the coming year.
The film is expected to go on the floor mid-next year. However, before that, Ranbir will be seen wrapping up the shoot of Luv Ranjan's rom-com. And while Ranbir has a number of films lined up the official announcements of only Brahmastra and Shamshera have been made.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, actor Ranbir Kapoor recently made his relationship with actress-girlfriend Alia Bhatt official.
In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir revealed that had there not been a pandemic he would have got married to Alia this year. Ranbir said, "I don't want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life."
