Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's romance is literally on the top of the sky. Their intimate dance at recently held award shows and PDAs like kissing in public is proof enough that they have come closer than never before. For the uninitiated, it all began after Alia Bhatt confessed that Ranbir Kapoor is her crush.
Ranbir accepted that he is in a relationship with Alia Bhatt but also termed it 'very new'. However the relationship has now blossomed and the couple has taken their next step. They are already engaged. Rishi Kapoor was receiving treatment in USA and the whole Kapoor family was stressed if Ranbir Kapoor would eventually settle down or no. Hence, since he wanted to see his son finally settle down, the veteran actor gave his son a go-ahead and now Ranbir Kapoor is happily engaged to his girlfriend Alia Bhatt.
It looks like weddings play a major part in their lives. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt posed together for the first time at Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja's wedding reception. Remember when they got papped together at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's pre-wedding bash? It was not only a pre-wedding for Akash and Shloka. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor also got engaged at the same venue.
The couple already had blessings from their families. Alia Bhatt even rang in her New Year with the Kapoor family and by her own confession, she was 'definitely Valentining' this year. Ranbir Kapoor even got down on his knees for her at a recently held awards show. He did the same in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Ranlia (as Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt fans call them) then hosted a grand party to celebrate the engagement ceremony. Alia Bhatt was left blushing at Ranbir's charm.
Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt came back, their PDA became the talk of the town. Whether it was their 'Ishq Wala Love' dance or Alia Bhatt saying the three magical words to Ranbir Kapoor on a public stage, sparks flew between them. Post their engagement, the couple is now planning to settle down once their upcoming movie 'Brahmastra' releases. A source told us that they plan a January wedding.
