'Brahmastra' is one of the most-awaited films in the Hindi film industry. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, the film is a fantasy epic adventure. Its motion poster was launched on Wednesday, December 15 in Delhi by Ranbir, Alia and the film's director, Ayan Mukerji.
The film was first announced in 2014 and now after more than seven years, fans have finally caught a glimpse of the movie at a much publicised glittering event in Delhi. As the motion poster suggested, the film will be a visual spectacle high on VFX.
The motion poster opens with Ranbir’s voice telling to Alia Bhatt's character Isha that there are some mystical powers and weapons waking up in the universe and it is unknown to the mankind. We hear Alia Bhatt's s voice next as he questions him how how he is the only person who can see this. We can then see Ranbir Kapoor's character Shiva as the one who is destined to protect the humanity. The video ends with Ranbir holding a fiery trishul, standing atop a hill with Lord Shiva's image in the background. The title 'Brahmastra' and the tagline 'Saare Astron Ka Devta' is seen next on screen with the caption 'Part One: Shiva' and the release date '09.09.2022'.
Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and shared the film's motion poster with the caption, ""His power lights from within. Here comes our Shiva!".
The film's official Instagram account also released the posters in Hindi and English languages. Have a look.
'Brahmastra' also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia. The film is produced by Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios and is set to release on 9th September 2022.
