Rajpal and his wife allegedly failed to repay a loan of Rs 5 crore which the actor had taken from a Delhi-based businessman for his directorial debut in 2010. Earlier in 2013, Yadav was sent to Tihar Jail from December 3 to December 6 for submitting a false affidavit in the case.

Reportedly, the case is about Rajpal Yadav's film Ata Pata Lapata which was made by Yadav himself. The actor had allegedly taken a sum of Rs 5 crore from a businessman for the same film. The movie released and proved to be a dud at the box office but Yadav apparently hasn't paid him back. So the businessman had filed a case against Rajpal Yadav and his wife.
