Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have never tried hiding their relationship. The two have been together since her debut opposite Rajkummar in 2014 film Citylights and through career highs and lows, the two have stuck by each other.

Ask about their marriage plans and the the actress reveals they are in no rush. Even after Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli's marriage and rumours of Sonam Kapoor- Anand Ahuja and Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh tying the knot this year, the two have no plans to get married anytime soon. In fact, Patralekha says her family doesn't want her to settle down early as well. In an interview to Mid-Day, Citylights actress said, "I don't see myself getting married for the next six to seven years. We both have too much to achieve. Our marriage, when it happens, will be beautiful. We will enjoy a two-month-long honeymoon and see the world." She further added that her family is happy with her decision as well. She said, ""My father always told me that marriage isn't a prerogative. I'd see friends tying the knot at 21, but my family never put that pressure. 'Don't get married' was a family diktat."

Rajkummar Rao is busiest among the two with eight releases in 2017 and film like Omerta, Fanne Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor and Stree with Shraddha Kapoor up for release this year but Patralekha is happy with her slow and steady growth in Bollywood. Her third film in fourth year, 'Nanu Ki Jaanu' with Abhay Deol is up for release and the actress confessed that she is not envious of Rao's achievements.She told the Mumbai daily,  "He can never be my competition, he is my inspiration. Imagine having to be under the pressure of matching up to him, that would be a crazy place to be in."
