Later in the day, many stars had come to pay their respect to the late producer-director like, Raveen Tandon, Apoorva Agnihotri, Huma Qureshi, Rohit Roy, and many more. Mouni Roy, who is Mandira's best friend also visited her home after the cremation to pay her last respect to Raj.

A day before his demise, Raj spent some time with his friends including Mouni Roy and others at their residence. Both Mandira and Mouni shared pictures from their reunion on social media on Sunday.

Another actor who was shattered at the demise of Raj Kaushal was Ashish Chowdhry. He penned an emotional note on his social media paying tribute to his late friend.

Taking to Twitter, Ashish Chowdhry shared several pictures of himself with Raj Kaushal taken over the years. Ashish tweeted, "My guiding light, my happy quotient, my mollycoddler, is gone. My big brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, gone. Yet, he taught me well. To survive any storm. So I’ll do the same today. For him. Until then bro. Until we meet again (broken heart emoji) @rajkaushal1."

It was actor Rohit Roy, who confirmed Raj Kaushal’s time of death. He wrote, “Raj passed away this morning, around 4.30 am, he had a heart attack. He was at home, by the time the family could get any medical help, Raj had gone.”

Mandira and Raj got married in 1999 after which they welcomed their first child in 2011, Vir Kaushal. The couple adopted a girl later and named her Tara Bedi Kaushal.
