Radhika Madan's upcoming film 'Shiddat' also stars Diana Penty, Sunny Kaushal and Mohit Raina in prominent roles.
Radhika Madan started her career with the TV industry and forayed into Bollywood in 2018 with the film ‘Pataakha’. She got her big break with Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Angrezi Medium’ and is now all geared up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Shiddat’ which also stars Diana Penty and Sunny Kaushal.
All three stars are now busy with the promotions of the film which is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on October 1. On Thursday (September 2021), Radhika and Sunny were spotted out together for the promotions and posed for the paparazzi. Sunny was dressed in a white t-shirt paired with brown pants and a checkered shirt.
However, Radhika’s attire drew immense flak from netizens and was brutally trolled on social media. The actress was dressed in checkered boot-cut pants with a slit paired with a black bralette. She kept her hair open and went with a nude make-up look.
Criticising her attire, one user wrote, “Kuch bhi pehn Lete h,” while another user commented, "She needs to get a new stylist asap lol.” A third user wrote, “She is so uncomfortable in the dress saaf dekh rha h,” while a fourth one commented, “What is she wearing like seriously.”
Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, ‘Shiddat' was earlier slated to be released in September 2020 but got delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The film, which is being touted as a love story, also stars Mohit Raina.
On Wednesday, the actors even took to their respective social media handles to announce the release date of the film. Radhika and Sunny shared the first-look posters of their characters from the movie, in which they will play Kartika and Jaggi. The film’s trailer will be unveiled on September 13.
