Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh sent the nation into a meltdown after they officially announced their wedding dates on Sunday. Sharing the announcement both in Hindi and English on their respective social media accounts, the couple said that their wedding would take place on November 14 and 15 this year. They didn't reveal the venue, though.

As soon as the wedding card hit social media, congratulatory messages from fans and industry members started puring in. Everyone from Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Kriti Sanon to Richa Chadha showered their love on the couple.

But it was Ranveer's friend and former co-star Priyanka Chopra's comment that garnered the maximum attention. Reacting on Ranveer’s announcement, Priyanka wrote, “Congrats!! Yay!!! Tu hero ban gaya Ranno!! (You have become a hero).” She took help of a old Hindi film song while commenting on Deepika's announcement post as she wrote, “Woot woot!! Piya ki ayegi baraat.”

Priyanka's excitement is understandable as she, too, is busy planning her big fat Indian wedding, which according to latest reports, is likely to take place at Jodhpur in December, this year.
