The first official pictures of the Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' dreamy wedding ceremonies are finally out and they beautifully capture the different cultures and religions coming together for the union of the star couple.
People Magazine got their hands on the first exclusive pictures of the regal wedding and we can't take our eyes off the newly married bride and groom. The couple even features on the cover of the magazine's latest issue.

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in two elaborate ceremonies. While they exchanged vows in a Christian wedding on Saturday, a traditional Hindu ceremony took place the next day. Dressed in a hand-beaded and embroidered Ralph Lauren gown coupled with a beautiful 75-foot long veil, Priyanka looked like a princess straight out of a Disney fairy tale. Making the dress one of a kind, the embroidery included eight significant words and phrases selected by the bride, including 'Family', 'Hope' and 'Compassion'.

Priyanks's prince charming looked dapper in a Purple Label double-breasted tuxedo with a piece of the bride's dress hand-embroidered with the Urdu words, 'My Jaan' at the interior lapel of the jacket, just over his heart.

"Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day. But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be." Priyanka said in an exclusive interview with People. She even revealed that it was Nick's idea to have not one, but two wedding ceremonies to celebrate the coming together of their respective cultures. "It melted my heart. Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special." she said.

The dress took 110 embroiderers from Kolkata and 3,720 hours to create the hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss and layers of thread work. At the bride's request, the names of her fiance and her parents, Ashok and Madhu, were beautifully sewn into the waistband of her skirt in Hindi. She completed the ethnic look with minimal but traditional jewellery including a maangtika, nath and a heavy neckpiece.

Priyanka's Ralph Lauren wedding gown took 1,826 hours to complete, her Hindu wedding lehenga was made in 3720 hours.

"I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up, we took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It's been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way." the actor told People.
