Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who got married in a Christian ceremony on December 1, had their Sangeet ceremony at the luxurious Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on November 30.
A guest earlier told DNA After Hrs that, Priyanka, clad in her pink embellished outfit with a kundan and diamond jewellery, dedicated a dance performance to Nick. The Amercian singer left PC emotional as he delivered a special performance for her.
Apart from the bride and the groom, the four-hour-long sangeet ceremony had Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti Chopra and other Indian and international stars performing on some Bollywood, Punjabi and Rajasthani numbers. A source shared to E!, "Everybody had so much fun at the Sangeet."
Nick's brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas and Priyanka's family members also performed at the function. "Each team recreated their own version of how they both met in dance form. These well-rehearsed performances were all part of a competition to test who is the most creative," the source added. Nita and Mukesh Ambani also attended the ceremony with children Isha and Anant and daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant.
The insider said that, "Nick and Priyanka were laughing and had a great time watching all the performances."
Celebrity wedding photographer Joseph Radhik, who is the official photographer for NickYanka's wedding, recently posted a story on Instagram that read, “OK. It’s been 8 years of wedding photography, and tonight I may just have witnessed the most amazing Sangeet night of em all. Wow.”
Radhik has earlier filmed Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding in Italy and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's wedding in Goa, among others.
The Ambanis, Arpita Khan Sharma along with son Ahil, YouTuber Lilly Singh, singer Manasi Scott, television host Anusha Dandekar and her boyfriend Karan Kundra, fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukerjee and makeup artist Mickey Contractor are among the select few who got to attend the ceremony.
