'Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim's performances will wow us': Aamir Khan praises 'The Sky Is Pink' trailer

On September 10, 2019, the much-awaited trailer for The Sky Is Pink was dropped. The film stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles and is directed by Shonali Bose. The trailer was perfectly cut and it had a blend of romance, drama, hope and tragedy. The film is based on the story of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13 and her parents Aditi and Niren Chaudhary. 

Today, Aamir Khan who often shares appreciation posts for celebs and movies took to his social media pages and praised The Sky Is Pink trailer. He wrote, "I really liked this trailer. Cant wait to see the movie. Looks like Shonali has made another fantastic film. I am sure Priyanka, Farhan and Zaira's performances in the film will wow us. Sid, wishing you the best for your first independent film! Love. a." with the trailer.

The Sky Is Pink was premiered at 2019 Toronto International Film Festival and it was attended by Priyanka, Farhan, Shonali and Rohit. After the premiere, PeeCee penned a heartfelt note stating, "A special night with special people, sharing this labour of love which took us over a year to bring to life. It was an unforgettable experience... Thank you Aditi and Niren for trusting us with your story with us for joining us for #TheSkyIsPink world premiere at Tiff"

The film is co-produced by Priyanka, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, it is releasing on October 11, 2019.
