The actress, who hasn’t had a Hindi film release since Jai Gangaajal (2016), is back in the city and begins shooting today for Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink (working title). The film sees her reuniting with co-star Farhan Akhtar after Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) and also features Zaira Wasim. The latter plays their daughter in the flick, which is inspired by a true-life story.

Putting speculations to rest, it is now confirmed that PC is co-producing the film along with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. This is the sixth time she is collaborating with Ronnie and Sid. She has previously acted in Fashion (2008), Kaminey (2009) and Barfi! (2012) among other projects, which were backed by the duo. The Sky Is Pink will be shot across Mumbai, Delhi, London and the Andamans, with dialogues by Juhi Chaturvedi and music by Pritam.
