Prithviraj: Manushi Chhillar shares UNSEEN photo of her character Sanyogita

Manushi Chhillar is geared up for his big-screen debut with Prithviraj, and Miss India 2017 winner, has started building the hype for the film by sharing an unseen photo from the set. Manushi plays the role of Sanyogita, wife of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, and in the image, she shares a glimpse of her Sanyogita look as her left hand is seen bejewelled with exquisite ornaments from the Prithviraj era. She is seen getting into the mood of the shoot as she listens to her favourite music in her vanity van

The movie Prithviraj is based on the life of the fearless King Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar will play the titular role of the warrior who fought valiantly against the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor. In early February, The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has asked the Central government, whether the Censor Board has granted a certificate for the release of the movie `Prithviraj`. As per the reports of IANS, the court order came on Thursday on public interest litigation (PIL) seeking a ban on the release of the film. The court had fixed the case for hearing in the week commencing February 21.

A bench comprising Justice A.R. Masoodi and Justice N.K. Jauhri passed the order on the PIL moved by Karni Sena's vice president Sangeeta Singh. The petition sought a ban on the release of the movie, alleging it was presenting a 'wrong and vulgar' picture of Prithviraj, a Hindu emperor, and hence it hurt sentiments. The petitioner said the preview of the movie itself shows that it is controversial. 

Apart from Akshay, Manushi, Prithviraj stars Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in primary roles. The film will have a wide release worldwide on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and in IMAX format.
