PICS: Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra reveal first look posters from 'Kesari', disclose film's release date

With only a few months left for the release of Akshay Kumar's next film Kesari, the makers of the film have released two new posters of the film which reveal the first look of the lead stars in the film- Akshay and Parineeti Chopra

Along with the first looks, the makers have also disclosed the release date of the film which is March 21, 2019.

Kesari is being produced by Cape of Good Hope Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. 

While sharing the posters from the film, the official Instagram page of Dharma Productions captioned the series of pictures as, "It's a film wrap for #Kesari. The journey has been one filled with sheer pride to bring this story onto the big screen. Releasing on 21st March, 2019."

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra took to their social media handles on Monday to announce the release date of the film and share the first look posters. 

The team recently wrapped up the final schedule in Jaipur.

"And it's a wrap for #Kesari... A film which swells up my chest with immense pride. See you in cinemas on 21st March,2019," Akshay captioned the image where he can be seen dressed in a heavy turban, looking like a proud soldier.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Parineeti, on the other hand, along with the image wrote, "Anytime I watched a war movie, it was the love story of those brave men that kept me going..so proud to be a part of this epic experience!!! Thank you Akshay sir, Kjo & Anurag sir for allowing me to be a part of your vision. You all have made one of the most beautiful movies people will ever see!! Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari based on Battle of Saragarhi will see Akshay Kumar playing a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havaldar Ishar Singh who fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.
