Photos: Abhishek Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda immerse Ritu Nanda's ashes in Haridwar

On Tuesday, Ritu Nanda passed away after her battle with cancer. Her remains have now been immersed in Haridwar. Her son-in-law Abhishek Bachchan and grandchildren Navya Naveli Nanda and Agasthya Nanda were seen making their way to Haridwar.

Nikhil Nanda also joined Abhishek Bachchan, Navya Naveli and Agasthya in Haridwar. He sat on the floor, conducting puja rituals. Aaj Tak shared photos of the Bachchan and Nanda members from the site.

Apart from Shweta Bachchan's mother-in-law, Ritu Nanda was also Raj Kapoor's daughter. Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Randhir Kapoor, Navya Naveli, Agasthya Nanda, Rima Jain, and Rishi Kapoor had attended Ritu Nanda's funeral held on Tuesday.

Remembering her, Amitabh Bachchan had posted, “An ideal daughter , an ideal sister , an ideal wife , an ideal Mother , an ideal in-law , an ideal Mother-in-Law , and an ideal friend .. has left us for good in a distance we cannot cover .. for now .. !!” Sisters Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle also shared condolences for Ritu Nanda.
