The title track of JP Dutta’s war movie Paltan is all set to be launched today. Called Paltan O Paltan, it will also be the first song from the film to be released. Incidentally, it marks the reunion of JP with lyricist Javed Akhtar and composer Anu Malik. The trio had earlier collaborated for the famous Sandese Aate Hai song from Border (1997) and later LOC Kargil (2003). Now, after a span of almost 15 years, the team is endeavouring to revive the magic for Paltan, the third film in Dutta’s war trilogy. The song, which features all the actors of the film — Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane, Gurmeet Choudhary, Siddhanth Kapoor and Luv Sinha – was shot at Khardung La Pass in Ladakh in -20 degree Celsius. The song sung by Divya Kumar, Irrfan, Adarsh and Khuda Baksh will showcase the powerful bond of brotherhood between the soldiers.
