After continuing it's royal run at the ticket windows even in the second week, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat recorded a huge drop in its box office collections. The Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer film had raked in a total of Rs 20 crore on Sunday. But on Monday, the film only managed to rake in Rs 7 crore.

As of now, the total collections of Padmaavat stand at Rs 219.50 crore at the domestic box office. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the box office numbers. 

He wrote, "#Padmaavat is ROCK-STEADY... [Week 2] Fri 10 cr, Sat 16 cr, Sun 20 cr, Mon 7 cr. Total: ₹ 219.50 cr. India biz. SUPER-HIT."

 

SLB's Padmaavat is now slowly inching closer to the s 250 crore mark. The film is a huge hit at the overseas market as well. The film also has a free run at the ticket windows till Thursday this week before Akshay Kumar's Pad Man hits the theatres this Friday.
