R Balki's latest offering Pad Man, starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the leads had quite a successful run at the box office in the first week of its release. However, with the release of Aiyaary and Black Panther in this week, the collections of Pad Man seems to have been affected quite considerably.

On the eighth day of its release, Pad Man managed to rake in a total od Rs 2.10 crore at the ticket windows. This makes the total domestic box office collections of the film ti stand at Rs 64.97 crore. 

 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the figures. He wrote, "#PadMan slows down considerably. [Week 2] Fri Rs 2.10 crore. Total: Rs 64.97 crore. India biz."

Going by the current trend, Pad Man should end up with a lifetime collection between Rs 75 cror to Rs 80 crore. The film, based on the inspiring real life story of social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham who's credited to have built low-cost sanitary pads for the women of his village, has been gathering immense applads from the audience and the critics alike.
