One year of 'Kabir Singh': Check out Kiara Advani's sweet anniversary wish for Shahid Kapoor

2019's one of the most blockbuster films was Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh. The film was not only received well at the box office but was appreciated by fans of Shahid and Kiara as well. 

The movie gave Shahid and Kiara the biggest hits of their respective careers so far and today on the one year anniversary of the film, Kiara shared some pictures from the time of the shooting with Shahid and as well as director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Sandeep was also the director of the original Telugu movie Arjun Reddy in South with Vijay Deverakonda nad made his Bollywood debut with Kabir Singh. Posting a message for Kabir Singh on her Instagram Kiara wrote, "Dear Kabir Singh, Happy anniversary! Love always, Preeti (sic)."

The film was received with a mixed review from the audiences, while some thought the film promotes violence against women, others, especially fans of the actors appreciated the film for the acting prowess displayed by both Shahid and Kiara. On the work front, both Kiara and Shahid have a busy year ahead with several films lined up for them. 

Shahid is all set to feature in the Bollywood remake of Telugu hit Jersey where he will play the role of a retired cricketer in the sports-drama, who returns to the pitch for his son's sake. The film is directed by director Gowtam Tinnanuri who had also helmed the original. On the other hand, Kiara has films like Indoo Ki Jawani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan, and Laxmmi Bomb opposite Akshay Kumar in the pipeline.
