The spat between Anurag Kashyap and Kangana Ranaut took a new turn when the filmmaker indirectly alleged that the actress had instigated Payal Ghosh for #MeToo movement. On the other hand, Nikhil Dwivedi started trending for showing support to former #MeToo accused Nana Patekar.

Dwivedi now shared a message for Kashyap, and it might have involved Kangana Ranaut. Deciding that Anurag has enemies, Nikhil asked the filmmaker to stop fixing them.

"Post '72 Indo-Pak war 93000 Pak POWs apparently went back healthier, well look after & respected as soldiers. Decent people fight with enemies too with certain integrity irrespective of how the adversary may be. Let's not "fix" enemies. That reflects on our upbringing #AnuragKashyap," shared the actor-producer.

The actor's PRO shared a clarification that read, "He has written that in the 1971 War which we won, we had also kept Pakistani soldiers in captive but unlike other enemies, India looked after them really well and when they went back home, they were healthier and better. So he's supporting Anurag Kashyap saying that even if the enemies are being shady, you be a good human and a good natured ememy."

Actor Kangana Ranaut had shown her support to Payal Ghosh writing. "Anurag is very much capable of doing what Payal Ghosh is suggesting," she had tweeted.

Dwivedi, on the other hand, had a conversation with Anurag's friend Taapsee on September 6 about former #MeToo accused Nana Patekar. He wrote, "Don't we also owe an apology to #NanaPatekar & few other men who were ousted out of films & other such & denied a right to earn their livelihood or look after their families? No FIRs, No Chargesheets, No trials. Verdicts were announced by all in the name of justice."

The actor-producer, who had last bankrolled Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3', had responded to Taapsee Pannu's comment on Rhea Chakraborty's media trial. She had claimed that people have 'lynched a human being off her right to live even before proven guilty'.
