In the video, the couple said that both of them have decided to give the greatest gift of life. She captioned the video saying, "@riteishd and me have been thinking about it for a long time but unfortunately didn’t get down to doing it. Today on Doctor’s Day we pledge to donate our organs. We want to thank Dr Nozer Sherier and FOGSI for inspiring us. The greatest gift you can give someone is ‘The gift of life’. We urge you all to take a part in this initiate and pledge to save lives, pledge to donate your organs."

For the uninformed, the National Doctor's Day is celebrated in the memory of a former Chief Minister of West Bengal and a well-known physician, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. Dr Bidhan was born on July 1, 1882, and died on the same date in 1962, aged 80 years. He was also honoured with the country’s highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna, on February 4, 1961.

A few days back, Vidyut Jammwal had expressed his disappointment for not being included in the invite to promote his film on an OTT platform. In reaction to his response, Genelia who had worked opposite him in Force had written, "More power to you. Every film is made with a lot of love, a lot of sweat and a lot of people giving it their all. It's only fair to want a little respect. It's only fair to expect an invitation and it's only fair to have at least been intimated. But then, sometimes even life is not fair. Keep walking my friend."
