'Mum and Dad go through the scripts I get, but they want me to have the final say in my career': Ananya Panday

Even before the release of her debut film, Student of the Year 2, Ananya Panday signed her second film, Pati Patni Aur Woh in which she will be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. Moreover, she has kickstarted the shoot of her third film as well. Titled, Khaali Peeli, the film has Ishaan Khatter as the male lead opposite Ananya. The newcomer's Instagram page is on point and she has been loved for her chic fashion sense as well.

During a recent interview, Ananya opened up about who chooses her movie scripts. She stated, "Mum and Dad go through the scripts I get. They do give me advice, but they want me to have the final say in my career. There were a number of things I had to deal with that I don't at all anymore and there are so many things I never used to have to deal with that I do now. It's a weird balance. I am a lot more protective of everything."

Meanwhile, recently, when Ananya's father and actor Chunky Panday was asked about the fake college certificate of his daughter, he told Pinkvilla, "Well, when the college incident of hers happened, she took it well but somewhere she was shaken also. That's when I told her that she needs to speak about it and not stay quiet for too long. She kept quiet for long. But I told her she is perhaps the only one who has the chance to clarify."

On the work front, Pati Patni Aur Woh is releasing on December 6, 2019.
