Mira Rajput loved Batti Gul script

Recently, After Hrs told you how Shahid Kapoor has asked wife Mira Rajput to go through his scripts and approve them. Mira, who’s one of Shahid’s critics as well, picks and chooses the best from the ones that he receives. Shahid has signed Shree Narayan Singh’s next, Batti Gul Meter Chalu — a quirky satire with a social message. The script left Mira impressed. A source tells us, “Mira absolutely loved the Batti Gul script and after she read it, she told Shahid that this was the film for him. She believes in the script and Shahid, who also took a keen interest in the project then, immediately decided to sign it.”
